Article: 10 Great Ways to be an Unhappy Mom

Ok, I admit it the title of this article grabbed my attention and I wanted to know what it had to say. I think the author has a great list and I know that I have succumbed to more than one of them but the biggest on has been:

#3. Base your contentment on the state of your house.

Which one has been your stumbling block in being a happy mom?…

Thank you for sharing! #10 is currently me this past year. I have my plate over running and yet nothing is getting accomplished. I also have been very down about #9. The house we are renting is currently in desperate need of some renovations. Not including expansion if possible. All three are in one bedroom with three toy boxes/organizers, two dressers, homemade bookcase, and a quick built in rod with shelf for a "closet" covering two large windows. Still have yet to even look at curtains and some windows are still missing blinds. I love this house and really wish to call it "mine" but there is SO much that needs to be done.
that was interesting! Now I know why im such a happy mom. I don't really do any of those things. Number 2 did jump out at me. Because I think there is only 2 ways to do things. My way and the wrong way. But I never compare myself to other moms. And my husband and I are working on number 3. I do like to have a clean house. But I told my husband I can't do everything on my own. So now he is helping me around the house.
