my birthing experience

I posted last Wednesday (i think) that I was hoping I was in the early stages of labor because of what I was going through one morning. Well here is the result.
Tuesday through Thursday morning I was struggling through irregular but painful contractions. I finally decided to go to the ER because of the pain on Thursday morning, because I knew I wasn't going to make it in that much pain to my induction at 7. Turns out I was 5 cm dilated. I was admitted. Got an epidural. After about 5 hours, I was ready to push. I pushed and pushed for 2+ hours until my doctor said there must have been a reason that I couldn't push out the baby (after he had kept making dips in his heart rate all day). I had an emergency c-section. Turns out the cord was in a not and kept pulling back baby at every push, and he was sunny side up.
I am now home, struggling to try and poop :/ but happy. David was born Friday Morning at 3:38am 7 lbs 14 ounces.

He is wonderful!! Congratulations on his birth!! Besides trying to poop (totally get it, I had trouble with that too after my sections, take some laxatives!), how is your recovery going? Are you in a lot of pain or has it started to get better?
      Awww... sooo Cute :)
I had the same problem after my c-section. Milk of magnesia was my best friend! Lol
        He is adorable. Congrats!!!
