Big city or small town living?

I have lived in both, and they each have pros and cons.

In the city you can usually walk wherever you want to go. Cost of living tends to be higher, or you get less for the amount you pay.

Small town or rural living means you aren't close to much, or your options are limited. No public transportation. Cost of living is usually a bit less or you get more for your money.

I prefer a more rural setting myself. How about you?

I'm with you. Rural. But hubby has the stipulation that we have to be in close driving distance to town and we are - 4 miles! Not sure it will always be like that but for now he has what he desires.

That's also the tricky part now that I am dependent on DSL for income. We have to find a place that services it!
