Did you get heart palpitations when you were pregnant?

No, I did not get heart palpitations during my pregnancy. I know some women do though. If you are experiencing heart palpitation the first thing you should do is sit down or lay on your side. Drink a few sips of water and try to rest. The heart palpitations should stop, if they don't you need to call your doctor.

I did not feel palpitations, but I did experience some pretty high blood pressure near the end. In my eight month, they had me stay home from work for a few days and that brought it down. It spiked again in 39th week, and I delivered early.

I did. It felt like fluttering in my chest kind of like someone let a butterfly loose in there. It would make me cough and gag. It was such an uncomfortable feeling. Its caused by your body adjusting to 2 hearts running off of one blood supply.

And yes sitting down and drinking a glass of water did help sometimes.
