Why should you not have your baby eat cereal?

We skip all infant cereals because they are not healthy.

Babies can not digest it-
To digest grains we need an enzyme called amylase. We don't start making enough of this enzyme to digest grains until after a year old. Undigested grain are bad for our digestive tracts. It can cause bacteria to over grow and is linked to food allergies, behavioral problems and more.

Taking the place or nutrient rich foods-
Your baby is going to be filled up on grains and not have enough room to eat other nutrient rich foods. Babies do not need fillers, they need frequent nutritional foods to support their growth and development.

Infant cereals are linked to a higher risk of childhood and adult obesity. Infant cereals are also linked to a higher risk of developing diabetes.
