A period party?

Please tell me this is a joke.

Maybe I'm the one without an open mind.

I agree with you! I was ten and the only one carrying a purse. It was very embarrassing.

There was a movement a few years ago trying to celebrate embracing becoming a woman and making it more positive for young girls but it wasn't anything like this. It was done much more tastefully. I think something like that done as a mom and daughter/sister thing is more realistic for us. As it is we didn't do anything.
Haha! That is hilarious! Though I think there are crazies out there that would do that. When I got mine my mom teared up and then admitted she had no idea why she teared up but wanted to call my grandma and tell her. Then she told me that when she was a kid she got hers at a neighborhood party. Her mom helped her out and then went back to the party and told EVERYONE what happened. My mom was mortified.
