Would very early implantation change your due date

Probably not. Your doctor will calculate your due date based on your last menstrual period. Beliefs slightly vary but generally pregnancy starts at conception, when the egg is fertilized by the sperm. Once the egg is fertilized it starts the process of splitting and dividing cells and the baby starts to develop. After fertilization the egg will implant into the uterus. You can not have a positive pregnancy test until the egg implants. Implantation usually occurs 7-10 days after you ovulate.
