Coping with health issues while taking care of kids

I suffer from fibromyalgia and migraines as well as other health issues. It can be a very debilitating. There are days I can't even get out of the bed or if I do I have to walk with a cane. I am lucky that my two older girls help me out with watching and taking care of their little sister as well as keeping the house in order. When they were younger things were very difficult. I am also thankful for my wonderful fiance who is a tremendous help.

I want to know how everyone else deals with health issues and how they get things done.

Thanks ladies. Stefany, I completely understand. I often struggle with the inability to hold things as well. Washing dishes is often a big issue. I know I have broken lots of dishes. Like you, I too feel like I'm not doing enough for my kids. They are happy and taken care of but when you can't do things with them that other parents do it brings you down and the kids don't always understand.
I do not have any physical limitations but I suffer from depression. I find it hard some days to even pull myself out of bed. But I try to pull myself together as much as I can for my kids. I started taking medication to cope with it and while I still have some bad days, all around I seem to be doing much better with it. I am sorry you are going through this. I can't imagine how hard that must be for you. It is great that your older kids are willing to help you out.
