IUD I think I hate you!

Ugh! So Thursday I get my IUD checked...normal checkup after insertion. It's been about 2 months and I think I hate this thing. Honestly....it's so uncomfortable. It hurts almost all the time and now I haven't had a period in a month and a half...the last period I had lasted 2 weeks so It could have just thrown me all out of whack...but if I am pregnant I'm going to be SO upset! The whole idea behind this thing is to NOT get pregnant. But the signs are there...but it could be my blood sugar problems too or it could be PMS symptoms (apparently this can happen) and I just am skipping a period which is normal with this stupid thing but not normally until after six months or more plus I've NEVER skipped a period even when we tried to with the birth control pills, but I'll know Thursday. My next step if I'm not pregnant, I don't think I am but ugh, is to get my tubes tied...in a nice little bow...I'll take a purple one :-) lol ugh I can't wait to get rid of this thing. See? I'm loosing my mind! Lol

I thought it would be a good long term surgery free solution but so far I don't like it.

My sister inlaw was having problems with hers also. She was considering having it taken out except she's paranoid that if she does that
      A. She might get pregnant
      B. Her dad will assume she's trying to get pregnant.
      Lol
She said she would rather just switch back to regular birth control because the IUD has caused so many problems for her. Hopefully things get better for you or you can find a good alternative.

The normal birth control was making me have month long periods. It was horrible. I think gettig my tubes tied is my best option at this point. There is also the possibility that I'm going through menopause which would be awesome! The women in my family go through it very early in life. I would be thrilled if this were the problem lol
But if by some crazy fluke I am pregnant we would love that kid as much as the other two. It's scary though because getting pregnant with the iud is not a good thing. There are a few stories that turn out well but from what I have researched most end in an ectopic pregnancy or miscarriage.

I got my tubes tied and it was the best decision I ever made.

I'm not sure if they can reposition it. I'm not sure if it's out of place or not. This will be the first time I have it checked. But I've checked the strings and they are where they should be but I've been so nauseous for the last few weeks. Something isn't right...just not sure if it's linked to the iud or not. If not then next is getting my blood sugar checked.
