Apple cider vinegar bath while pregnant?

Yay!!! I am 25 weeks pregnant today!!! excited face!!!! Question....this is a silly one so prepare to laugh but I miss baths with apple cider vinegar once a day ...it relaxed me. Do you think this would harm me or the baby now that I am pregnant....don't know why it would but thought I'd ask.....I would love to do that tonight and read a good book.......

I don't know for sure and a quick google search seemed to bring up mixed opinions. It would probably be best to check with your doctor.

How much do you put in the bath water? I would think if it was diluted by water it probably wouldn't hurt.

I think it should be fine but I don't know for sure. I don't really see what it would hurt.

I work in L&D registration and haven't had a chance to ask the nurses but the other ladies told me it wouldn't hurt anyone....just thought I would ask you all before I do that. I really don't want to be one of "those" pts we see sometimes overkilling on the calling the dr for all kinds of questions. I really do not want to pester her about this lol. I just miss the relaxing feeling of it....haha plus it lowers bp, and all kinds of things. I love ACV....it is a natural solution to many things....

Honestly I bet your doctor and nurses wouldn't know for sure either, it is not something that is commonly asked.

I never heard of doing that but I'll have to give it a try. I don't see why it would hurt the baby. I think you should be okay. I used bath salts and soaks when I was pregnant and never really thought twice about it. In retrospect I probably should have looked into it. Lol. My kids are all fine but it never crossed my mind.
