What could possibly help with the fatigue I get while at work?

I get extremely tired while at work. It's like my eyes got a mind of their own. I sometimes fall asleep for a couple of minutes till I am startled by someone. It's quite embarrassing for me dozing off like that. Anything I can do/drink to help me stay awake ?

Coffee and I are not the best of friends at the moment, makes me nauseous.

Will definitely try the walking more often. It will probably help since I am deskbound most of the time. :) The highlight of pregnancy

It helped me to take a short walk either outside or around the office. We also have desks that we can raise so you can stand to work, not sure if you have that? Others have also used fitness balls to sit on.

No risible desks at work, will try the fitness balls. I mostly get sleepy after lunch.

Do you have a room you could go into during your lunch break and take a quick 10 minute nap? I did that a number of times. Just bring your phone with and set the alarm or ask a co-worker to come knock on the door.

I stare at the computer the whole day. Could probably be the reason why my eyes feel like they are on fire most of the time . I love energy drinks, but are they good to consume during pregnancy?

Try smelling citrus. Bring an orange for lunch or look for an essential oil. I know Bath and Body Works has some citrus lotions, candles, etc. I know for me when I eat too many carbohydrates at one time I get very sleepy. I've learned to eat 60 grams or less of carbohydrates at meals and 15-20 grams of carbohydrates for snacks. I always eat protein with carbohydrates because the protein slows the rise and fall of the blood sugar. Slowing the rise and fall helps with staying fuller longer as well as not getting the 'burnt out' feeling and wanting to sleep. I wish you luck with staying awake.

I am expecting my first baby, feeling excited and scared at the same time. Looking forward to motherhood, cant wait to meet my little one. When I was a young girl I use to dream of the day I would become a mother. Now my dream becomes reality :)
