When I grow up, I want to be.....

Growing up I use to dream of the day I become a mother. For me mother's were like superhero's, they can do anything. I use to fantasize about how my baby would look like. Picturing the first time my baby would say mamma.
I loved kids so much, that my older cousins would always bring their little ones to our house so I could help babysit. I started babysitting when I was about 10 years old and I loved every moment of it.
When there was a baby over I would not even go outside to play with my peers. When all my peers talked about what they wanted to be when they grow up, I would tell them that I wanted to be a mommy.

Now that I am going to be a mommy I am excited and scared all at the same time. It has been a bumpy road with morning sickness, swollen feet and nose, weight gaining, mood swings and doctor's appointments. Want to meet my bundle of joy already, but feels like the months are just dragging by.

What did you want to be growing up?

When I was little, I wanted to be a veterinarian but not only am I not smart enough, I wouldn't be able to handle having to do surgery or giving shots lol! Once I was 12, and started playing online games, it's been my dream to make game cinematic scenes... all my elective high school classes that I was allowed to choose (that was almost all of my junior and senior year) were based around that...and then I got pregnant, and now I has a baby. I just don't have the time to take college classes for it anymore, and I'm not willing to move away from my husband just to find a job in it.

I always wanted to be a mom. Even when I was little I would get my dolls together and they were my kids, my mom tells me I did this when I was about 6 or 7. I knew I wanted to have kids and wanted a lot of kids. It was really great to have the support of my husband when it came time to start our family and we decided that he would work and bring in the money and I would stay home with the kids and run the house.
I want it to be a surprise but my boyfriend and mom want to know the gender. I don't want to be selfish so decided to go find out at my next doctors appointment. I am hoping for a boy, but everyone close to me want a girl. Sometimes it feels so surreal, like I am in a dream or something. Just a few more weeks to go.
Morgan as the saying goes, you are never to old to learn. So you can always study in a few years time when you feel you are ready and that everything in your life is in place.

Christina if you put your mind to it you will do it. I want a copy of your first book when you publish it. I am sure it will be a best-seller, just you wait and see.
I would love to be a stay at home mom as well but unfortunately due to circumstances I cant at the moment. Most probably in a couple of years time I will be able to do so.
