When does pregnancy occur in your cycle

Pregnancy occurs during ovulation. Ovulation is when your ovaries drop an egg. The egg passes through the fallopian tubes and to the uterus. If the egg is fertilized, it will implant in the uterus and pregnancy will begin. If it is not fertilized both the egg and your uterine lining will shed you will get your period.

Ovulation happens about 2 weeks before your period for MOST women. There are test strips you can take to see when you are ovulating, or there are other ways to track ovulation. If your period is very regular, it will usually only take a couple months to completely chart and track ovulation. I have friends that have used tracking ovulation to both prevent and plan pregnancies.

Yep, sounds about right. I can pretty much pinpoint my fertile days because I'm so regular.

obsessed with babywearing, cloth diapering, and breastfeeding (but not judgmental about those that aren't). I'm a SAHM that works. Loves cupcakes, kittens, and glitter; hates spiders, housework and pessimism.
