How to whiten teeth at home?

I would love to whiten my teeth. Do you have any product that you love that you could do on your own from home?

It works really well for me. I usually just put a small amount in a container and leave it my sink. then wet my brush and dip it in after I already brushed my teeth with regular past. I guess you could just add a little mint extract to the BS for flavor as well.

I've heard oil pulling is awesome! Using organic sesame oil and basically swishing for 20 min is supposed to release toxins through our gums, whiten our teeth , and also help detox our bodies. I've heard after doing it a few times consecutively not to be surprised if you're having more bowel movements bc of the toxins being pulled out. I started to do this but hadn't been successful needing to speak to my son etc. I plan to start again this week at night before bed or during a shower alone.

But what has been working for me so far unintentionally is brushing my teeth with homemade natural toothpaste using organic unrefined coconut oil and baking soda. My mouth feels cleaner than when I used the commercial brands. The whitening I've noticed has been an awesome bonus

Oh and I've read that oil pulling naturally keeps your breath fresh and yucky odor free. Looking forward to trying again as my teeth haven't enjoyed the nights of a glass of wine or coffee at times. If you give it a hot let me know how it works out for you and I can follow up too. :-)

I am currently using The Colgate Optic White 2-in-1 Whitening Kit. It comes with the Optic White toothpaste and a special toothbrush with a built-in whitening pen. You just use the brush and the toothpaste like you would normally brush your teeth, and then rub the pen on each tooth. Results in days!! I used to be so embarrassed of my yellow teeth, but now they're shades lighter! I've been using it for probably about a month now, and it's not even super expensive! I got mine at Walmart. :)

I use coconut oil. Basically it has gotten the latest craze call oil pulling. Which honestly it's been going on for many years but it gets my teeth white as can be. I do 1 Tbsp daily squish in my mouth for about 8 mins a day!

I mix baking soda and peroxide to a paste consistency. I brush with that once a day until I get the desired whiteness and then just a few times a week to maintain. Works great for me and is extremely cheap!
