Article: Natural Conception Later in Life Tied to Longer Life for Women
Since I had my last baby when I was 40, this article interested me. It was a small study done (400+) but it was revealing and it will be interesting to see if I live into my 80s or 90s. My grandma did and so did my great grandmother so who's to say it isn't in the genetics.
What do you think of having children later being tied to living longer?
I think it makes sense. At 48, by no means "old", Ed is on his first child and we have to be on our toes at all times. I know for me personally I've started eating better and have been working to become more active so that I can keep up with Charlie. At 50 I will have a 16 year old and will have to be on point. Makes sense :)
I had Johnny June 19, 1995 Just 10 days after I turned 26. My new doctor said there is no way I should have carried to term and it would never happen again. I never used any form of BC since. In Jan 1999 at 18 weeks I miscarried, my doctor then like the others said I should not have been able to carry a baby that far and it would never happen again.
Dec 10, 2005 at age 36 I discovered I was pregnant with Jericho. I had my first appointment with my midwife in Feb and she said I had no signs of dysplasia, cyrosurgery and did not look (down there) like I had ever given birth. He was my 6th pregnancy. He came one week late in Aug 2006 I was 37. My baby, Demetri was born Oct 2010 I was 41
