Starting a bank account for your child, what age?
My son is very interested in starting a savings account. He wants to put his money in and let it grow, haha. His words! I'm thinking ten is a bit young to start an account though.
At what age would you start a bank account for your child?
I think ten years old would be fine. My mom worked at a bank for years and still does, and she opened accounts for us when I was 8 and ben was 6, so we could put our christmas/birthday/allowance money in and let it grow.
I don't think 10 is too young at all.. why do you think it is? Heck, nowadays it's NEVER too early to save haha! At my Catholic school I attend from K-8th grade.. a bank came in, let us make accounts and start saving weekly, it was so cute and I loved it!
