Leah, here's the chicken coops
The first one is one we temporarily used for our laying hens for the first 5-6 months of their lives as they are not equipped with nesting boxes. Nesting boxes could be added easily enough though. We use these now mostly for our turkeys and broilers. Although our Silkies are fine in one with just straw for nests. It just makes moving them to a new spot trickier.
The second photo is a Joel Salatin style moveable chicken coop and is equipped with eight nesting boxes. This is great for our flock of 30 laying hens. The rest of our hens are in a room in our barn.
Hope that helps! I have "plans" for the first one somewhere or the website where I found it should you ever decide to take the plunge.
The first one was built by my husband. We have 4-5 of them now and need to make 4-5 more before winter.
