What is the creepiest encounter you have ever had?

I can't remember for sure what the creepiest one was. I worked in retail for a while so I met some people who set off my creeper alarm. I think the worst one was the guy who asked me for my phone number while I was working and I politely declined. Then he asked me for two dollars. I said no. Then he stood outside of my work and kept looking over his shoulder back into the store. I was like woah... time to call security. They always told us to call even if we just had a feeling something was off. Nothing happened but I was surely unsettled.

What about you? Any creepy encounters?

I was 16 and doing some light grocery shopping. A well dressed man in a suit dressed to the nines, in his 30s/40s, started a conversation with me as we were both picking out mangoes. I was so creeped out by the interaction, I started feeling sick to my stomach during the exchange of words that I had to rush out of the store and drive home. I think I had my first anxiety attack. There was something definitely off about the man like he was fishing for personal information, asking how long I had been in the states, etc. I am normally not that sensitive, but it was definitely eerie to me.

I was in high school and I didn't have a car, so I would walk home from school. Well there was this guy who lived a couple of blocks from me who was really creepy. He had kind of a limp and held his head to one side and looked generally unclean, and he would randomly yell sometimes. My mom said that he had had some severe drug problems and been in jail for rape a long, long time ago. Well, I was walking home one day, and I saw him walking down the sidewalk in my direction, so I crossed the street and continued walking. And then he crossed the street and continued walking towards me. There was a gas station next to me, so I pretended like I was going in and then ducked around the back and went down the alley instead. I RAN down that alley, constantly looking behind me, but he didn't follow me. I got out of the alley and looked back down the street I was just on and didn't see him anywhere, so I started walking home again. I didn't get very far until I realized he was behind me again! So I ran the rest of the way home, locked all of the doors behind me, and closed all of the curtains and blinds. I could hear him walking up and down the street yelling like he does. It wasn't in words or threats or anything, it just sounded really angry, like you would yell out of frustration. I called my mom at work, crying and told her what happened. She said not to worry, that he wouldn't have been strong enough to do anything anyways, and to just stay in the house for now. I was so scared, I just sat there and shook for a while. I went back to the window and he was gone.
