Baby movement during labor

It is normal for your baby to move during labor. With each contraction your baby will be squeezed by your uterus and moved down into your birth canal. It is also very common for your baby to move into a better position and rotate during labor as well. During labor your baby will also continue with their sleep and wake cycles. Your baby will go through periods of sleeping and have little to no movement. Your baby will also have period of wake and move around and squirm and kick. Often times if you are hooked up to fetal monitoring devices you will be able to hear your baby's movements.
