Vaginal odor when pregnant: causes and treatment
Vaginal odor during pregnancy is commonly a sign of an infection. A strong or foul smelling discharge is very common with infections. You can get a fungal vaginal infection, most often known as a yeast infection. You can also get a bacterial vaginal infection. Infections can cause redness, itching, bleeding, pain, and discharge.
If you have any signs and symptoms of an infection make sure you take to your doctor and get treatment. Treatment is important because some infections can cause miscarriage or preterm labor if left untreated.
