recalls

There are a few things that are no longer sold that I had for my twins in 2002. I wish I knew when I sold it all that is was going off the market. Like my crank up swing yes it was noisy but, that was the point they loved the noise and would mimic it. Also they were much taller hence the reason for the reason for not being on the market. I just can't seem to see how they tipped unless they were misused. Also the little bath seat that suctioned to the tub I had two and loved them. Yet people were leaving the babies unattended to drown in the seat! Ugghh!

There are certain things I would never consider buying used anything for baby except clothing.

Isn't that always the way? I have always said once I fall in love with a product the next time I go to look for it it's no where to be found....whether it's a baby product, household item or clothes.

One thing I've noticed about recalls is that when I read the article about them, they (sometimes) are recalled because of misuse. The only thing I leave Charlie unattended in is his crib and his playpen. Everything else he plays with, he does so right in front of me.. But I know that's not the case with everything.

Best practice is to always read instructions even though things seem easy, and use all buckles even if you think your child can't move out of his gear.
