Heart Sick....or Horse Sick

Sandy, the palomino quarter horse, went back to her owner. Our daughter did well until Sandy was picked up. I can tell she's hurting and sad (evidence of tears etc.). She says she's fine, but my heart aches for her....hoping we'll find her forever horse soon. We are trying to find her an easy keeper, younger, who will truly be ours, since Blaze our 30 year old thoroughbred really isn't ours. He's on loan to us for as long as we want him. The thing is he isn't going to live forever and we are trying to prepare for that as well. Sigh.

She did well and is doing well. Misses Sandy, as is to be expected. We are keeping our eyes open so all in its time, I guess.
