FDA warns against the use of Anbesol, Hurricaine, Orajel, Baby Orajel, and Orabase

The FDA is recommending that parents not use these medication or any medications for a teething baby. They recommend using teething toys, cool wet washcloths and other natural, non medication treatments.

These OTC medications have been linked to deaths in infant.

Our doctor told us with our first to never use orajel. We used Hylands teething tablets with the first 2 and loved them. Then with our last we got him a amber teething necklace. He has been wearing it since he was 6 months old and he will be 3 in 2 months and still wears it all the time. I love it. I recommend it to all moms with teething babies.
