Pregnancy after 35 is not as risky as we thought!

We're all familiar with the idea that there are inherent, unique risks when having a baby. A new study found that women who had their last child when they were 33 or older lived longer than those who had their last child by 29. It doesn’t necessarily mean one causes the other—it’s possible that being healthy enough to get pregnant later also causes longevity—but it’s encouraging news for those who waited until our late 30s to have children. I had my last baby at 40 and that pregnancy was easier than the one at age 25!

I hated that everytime I had a doctors appointment they would always say "now remeber you are advanced maternal age" like I had done something wrong. I was actually in the best shape of my life when I had my son. If I had gotten pregnant with him just a few years before I probably would have had a much harder time.

Well I'll be 38 on July 19th and hopefully have another baby by the time i'm 40! :) I know plenty of women still having babies in their 40's. All healthy! I NEED to have a baby! hehe

A few months ago, I saw a story about couple from India. Hubby was 80 something, and his wife was 68, and they had a baby! That's not so uncommon in other countries.

I was 32 when I had my daughter and I will probably be 34 or 35 when I have my second.
