Article: Baby name regret
As soon as I knew I was pregnant I knew I wanted a boy, and as soon as we found out we were having a boy, we agreed on the name Charles. There was no argument, no "what about this instead?" Charlie has always been my favorite male name, and is also a family name on the bf's side of the family so it made perfect sense. So I've never had an ounce of regret on what we named him.
I do have a friend that has regret though. I can't understand what she had to go through with this but this article helped me a bit. She wasn't upset about the name she picked but the spelling was.. I'll say it. The spelling was weird and when you read it you came out with something not at all what it should have been. People struggle with it and she's thinking about legally changing the spelling before her child enters school next year.
Fess up mamas. Did you ever have any baby name regret? Did you do anything about it?
