I woke up and my 4 bottom teeth were killing me my gums were puffy and when i brushed them they started bleeding And my back was killing me..
Teeth issues are very common when pregnant. Make sure you make an appointment to see a dentist at least once during your pregnancy. Its common for your gums to bleed even on their own from all the extra blood your body is pumping. And my dentist told me your bottom front teeth are usually the first to be effected. I had problems with my bottom front teeth also. And back problems also come with being pregnant. If they get worse or you are really concerned call your doctor. They will let you know what is and isn't normal and if they suggest you get checked out.
Do you think a salt water rinse would help with that? I didn't have that issue but it sounds miserable.
I actually got an infection under my gums which is common to get during pregnancy. It is caused by plaque and tartar build up. My gums swelled up and hurt pretty bad and my gums bled a lot so I would definitely get it checked out if I was her. I put mine off because I had no dental insurance and had to pay out of pocket and wound up with some bone loss due to the infection. But a deep cleaning helped clear out the infection. I am actually over due to go back to get another deep cleaning which is just to prevent it from happening again but again the lack of insurance is making it hard for me to do so. It cost me like $200 last time and we just don't have those extra funds laying around.
I need to have one done too. I am TERRIFIED of having it done though. I have a phobia when it comes to dentists. It's a claustrophobic feeling.
I was so scared about having it done also for the same reasons. I actually wanted to be put to sleep for it because I thought it would be really scary. But mostly because a needle in the mouth freaks me out. I actually didn't even have to get a needle. They put a strong topical on my gums and while I still could feel a little uncomfortableness it really honestly wasn't that bad. It didn't take real long and I really didn't feel any pain. And I felt amazing afterwards! I would really recommend sucking it up even though you are nervous and go for it! It will be well worth it.
The needle doesn't scare me, or even the pain. It's something about having someones hands in my mouth and near my face. It has trigger a panic attack before. I know, I'm a baby lol.
Lol I know how you feel. Luckily I found a dentist office where everyone was down to earth and made me feel relaxed. And the technician who did my cleaning kept telling me if I needed a break or it was too much just to let her know and we would take a break. She was very sweet.
Normal, horrible I know but it's normal. It's safe to go get a cleaning while you're pregnant, but nothing else. My gums bled so bad when I was pregnant. I even had a loose baby tooth that ended up falling out because it got so swollen. I feel for ya mama.
