Can be dangerous but if you know you wont get into a deep sleep and wont roll on or let go of your child while you sleep.Your choice, I have done it a few times, helped us during the cold winter and we got more sleep.

co-sleep = sleeping in the same room as your child.
bed sharing = sleeping in the same bed.

It's a confusing issue... I used to co-sleep with my daughter in her bassinet at the foot of our bed when she was newborn. I breastfeed so it was easier on me having her there. Once I started getting crazy tired and I almost dropped her I started bed sharing. She is now almost 10 months old and sleeps amazingly well in her crib (once we transitioned), but when she wakes up between 5:00 and 6:00 am I let me come cuddle in bed with me until we wake up for the day at 7:00am.

We did it and still do from time to time. We were always super light sleepers when our kids were in bed with us. Well I am a light sleeper anyway.

I did the first couple weeks with Brielle because that was the only way shed sleep. I didn't do it in my bed though and I was still so sore from my c section that i knew I wasnt rolling anywhere. we took the back cushions of the couch off and it made a dip and we stick a pillow in there. I was close enough for her to feel comforted but not for anything to happen. now we just take naps together in the living room and my aunt keeps an eye on us.
