Favorite Time Of Day?

I used to hate the time of day that I now love... I always called it the witching hour... the time before dinner and too late in the day to start an activity and too early to start them getting ready for bed... ‚ÄčThis was always the time they got fussy and needy too... when they were smaller... They can STIIL get that way, but it's just easier to maintain... I don't have to cook dinner with a baby in my arms and a toddler at me ankle...

It's the time of day when we are through with school, errands, or whatever it is we are usually doing... even after we swim... the 4:30 to 5:30.. The time when my kids are tired from the day and play quietly or chill on the couch...

Used to be my most dreaded... now the most cherished...

I don't know if I have a favorite time of day anymore. I use to love mornings and going for a walk with the children. We got out of that habit the past several years.

I like the early morning hour after I get home from my paper route when I can watch TV in peace and quiet.

I like our family reading time.

I like it when we are all working in the garden or any other project.

I like watching a TV show as a family (if everyone can be quiet! lol!) I think I'll just start using closed caption so I can catch the conversation even it the children are talking.

We live in Los Angeles, CA. I'm a writer, comedian, actor and single mom of two. Parenting is hard. I try to keep a sense of humor about it all and find the find the funny... in what is most likely NOT funny (i.e. boogers, meltdowns, homework, etc.).
