House Guests???

Say you have a lease for the place you are staying and it states that you are not supposed to have any other adults living with you at any time.
You have a family member (old brother/sister) that needs a place to stay for a few days, say Wednesday to Friday. Friday comes and your family member don't ask but get mad at you when you have things planed and you go to do them and it's time for them to leave.

My Question is this:
Is it write or wrong to have him or her stay knowing that you, yourself could get kicked out because it states in the lease your not to have anyone else live with you.

What do you do?

the relationship with the landlord is fine, the other things to top it all off is, this family member has no job, not looking for one, and eats and smokes all ours. this family member is older and should be the one looking out for the younger not the older, right? he/she also has a record and the landlord does background checks to anyone who lives in their homes.
