High Risk Pregnancy due to IC
Any moms been through high risk pregnancy because of IC and had severe pain from a tooth needing to be extracted? What was done? Any advice from personal experience?
Hi Jessica! What is IC? The only thing I can think of is Intersistal Cystosis (I'm probably spelling that wrong).
Hi Jessica, welcome!! I have no idea what IC is.. can you elaborate?
Hello there!!! Hmm I'm not sure what IC is. I didn't have a high risk pregnancy for any reason.
So Sorry everyone Incompetent Cervix, I am used to saying that way than spelling it out
Cervix shortens which can put you into pre term labor which is what happened with my previous pregnancy and since my son was born at 28 weeks I am forever high risk for any pregnancies after him... I am about 9 weeks now but already they said my cervix is shortened... I am set up to do a cerclage at 12 weeks to stitch it close to hold the pregnancy to full term
no it was too late and I was hospitalized at 23 weeks on bed rest until he was born. They told me it was too late to do it then and the stitch has to be done before 12 to 20-22 weeks
they take the stitch out at 37 weeks but I have done some research where it can break a little so all depends but the success rate is usually high. I have 2 friends who had to do it and the only negative thing when you have a cerclage in is no sex whatsoever so my husband isn't too happy but we been through 3 deployments 12-15-12 months each and I am sure he can handle just 6 months lol
that is awesome to know Stefany thanks!
