50 ways to be a woman

This article is causing quite a stir on my facebook page. Have you read it? At first I didn't get what the big deal was but the farther down I read the more condescending the author seemed. #20 kind of made me mad:

"Do not restrict yourself to gender stereotypes, but do not blatantly defy them for sport."

Most people who defy gender stereotypes don't do it for "sport". I'm a tom boy through and through, but not because I have some weird pleasure in the world seeing me as a tom boy. I just am. If feel like people who say others do things "just for attention" because they don't like it are rude.

What do you think about this article. Is it insulting to you or do you agree?

There were a couple I wouldn't adhere to but I kind of go for the old fashioned type thing. Though I have become a working mom, my values are rooted in another era.
