Periods suck!!!

So, I'm due to get mine tomorrow. Ugh. I really hate these things And of course I'm craving chocolate when I'm trying to be healthy. Dang it. Wouldn't it be great if we had an on/off switch? Like, we could turn them on when we are trying to conceive and get pregnant, and then turn them back off until we're ready to start trying to conceive again...? Without medical intervention. I think this would be best haha.

Anyone else have ideas? Fantasize with me! haha :)

I stopped pumping long ago, so I don't remember mine right after. I do know they went back to normal pretty quickly though. It sucked so bad because after the '6' weeks of bleeding after delivery (mine was 8 weeks!!) I got my normal period not 2 weeks later and was regular form then on. -_-

I hate mine too, I always have a heavy flow so it's always extra annoying. And I get cramps the day before I get it too.

before I got pregnant with my third child my periods were regular always came on time every month and since having miscarried my third child my periods are coming almost every 2 months...I can understand how some of you want your periods to be regular because so do I...I plan to try and get pregnant again :) but cant do that unless my periods go back to normal :(

I'm due to get mine this weekend. I've had a bit of cramping but I'm not sure if it's from pms or if its from me eating half a bag of beans in one day. either way I felt very uncomfortable. I don't mind having aunt flo but my husband really has a problem with it. He's always saying "never trust anything that bleeds for a week and doesn't die" As much as I tell him I don't like this quote he keeps saying it. I hate the fact that he is anti-blood so much so that he will avoid me like the plague the week before the week of and the week after. Before having kids this sucked but my cycles were very long and irregular (very miserable I might add) but at least there was plenty of time to 'dance' now after having kids my cycle is much shorter and more predictable which means we basically have 7-10 days of 'dance' time before he avoids me again. ug. Oh and even when I mention aunt flo has come he says awful things. I then have to chime in saying, "having AF means I'm not pregnant." he says more awful things and walks away. anyway rant over.

Right now I'm bloated (hopefully ovulation) the most I've been since I've had Cameron and getting a rash similar to the one I had during my pregnancies. Ahh! I may be super excited and have a mini party if I get my period at the end of the month.

I know I feel the same way. I'm done having kids, why can't I be done with my period?

The pills that prevent conception and don't allow you to have a period are scary. They're messing with your body's normal function.

I dislike mine as well. I crave chocolate and Dr. Pepper more, and I am trying my best to lay off the sweets. Not only that, we are trying for a baby, too, and I get disappointed when mine rears its ugly head.

And, that would be so nice if they came with an off switch. Or they would just come for a day. Lol I rarely get cramps but I think the men should get the cramps and bloating. I could handle the rest. Lol!!
