My brain is tired....

We have had a busy week and there is more busyness to come with our CSA, our girls taking care of friend's farm animals 3x this weekend....

More than physical tiredness is the mental tiredness because of all the thinking and researching I have been doing as we try to decide if we are going to renew our lease here in February or move on. Moving on means A LOT of work, finding the right place for us and we want to make the right decision.

Have you ever struggled with such a big decision?

Yes, we have been working on a pros and cons list. I have one started and just have to get hubby and the children to weigh in with theirs to see where we end up.

Exactly. And it's not like we do it for everything but this is a huge decision and our children are ALL leaning towards one side already so we just have to figure out what is best for all of us in the end. Plus they really do think of things we don't, especially our older children and the younger ones surprise us sometimes too.

Oh yes, I want to move, but all the logistics are overwhelming . I've been on the phone with my mom almost every day this week. I missed yesterday so when I called her today I opened the conversation with, "Miss me?" and she actually said yes and that she was just thinking about me. It was kind of cute. My whole family is excited about the possibility

We have that to consider here too as I know some of the repairs are going to be at our cost due to our wear and tear and it scares me!

As a new military officers wife we will be moving this coming march and unfortunately we don't know where yet. We won't find out until at least october when my husband leaves for training for five months. I think the most important thing to do when you have a very full week is to stay focused on getting through each day and staying present in the moment. Also make sure you take at least 15 to 30 minutes a day to just relax. I do mine right before i go to bed. I listen to a relaxing free audio. Its called excel at life, it's on google play. I love it they have several audios to help you relax.

Good advice. Now if I could just shut my brain off when I hit the pillow I'd be in good shape.

Not sure that would work for me. I've used TV but that just makes me stay up sometimes, other times it lulls me to sleep.

I know and we are no strangers to risk, Meg, and beautiful things come out to taking risks sometimes....just look at where we are today. If we had not risked leaving our townhome to sell to move here to the rental we would not know if we were made for farming or that my husband actually enjoys it!

No MaryJane, they won't be making the decision but we have older children who have good heads on their shoulders so their input is important because they think of things we don't or have forgotten.

Yes Brande, we are still thinking about a move to Canada and there's so much immigration stuff to wade through for my husband that it makes my brain whirl!
