Lifes Struggles

When the economy went bad I know that so many of us struggled with jobs, finances, etc. and how did you deal with it? How did you get over the hurdle of financially struggling?

Since 2009 it seems like my husband and I can not get on our feet financially, it seems like we get ahead and we can start doing things again and not pinching every penny and then boom when it rains it pours and we are back to the same situation again. Unfortunately as well when the economy went bad so did a lot of things for us. We had to let credit cards go, we lost our house due to foreclosure, we have had to move out of state a few times just to try and start over and start fresh, but it never seems to fail something always goes wrong.

My husband and I have been married for 9 years now and honestly it is a blessing that we are still together because money(lack off) is definitely one of the many relationship killers. We have never been able to take a family vacation? We have never had our boys to Disneyland, etc? We basically live paycheck to paycheck and sometimes that is even a stretch. I've been a stay at home mom for the last 5 years and am still trying to get back into the work force, but that is becoming a frustrating challenge. It makes me feel like I have failed my family. Trying to find ways to pay the bills when things don't come together when they need to.

I need a miracle within a week to come up with a little extra to pay a bill because I am short again. Struggling financially is hard and sometimes I dont want to go on with the same struggle, but I don't give up that easily because to me failure is not an option, but I feel that I have exhausted all of my options and I really am not going to be able to make my bill this month that I need to pay.

How do you deal with struggles like this? Any tips/advice?
