So Tuesday I go in for a cerclage, definitely not looking forward to the pain & discomfort but whatever it takes to keep my baby "cooking"!

Cassie, a cerclage is where they stitch the opening of the cervix so that hopefully it doesn't open and or doesn't open up anymore. The stitches are usually removed around 36 wks, I have what they call a rescue cerclage with my daughter due to being 2cm dilated at only 20 wks. As of right now I'm not dilated at all but cervix is already shortening. And thank you, it seemed to help with her, I delivered he at 38 wks.

it will be worth it in the end, hopefully no preemies this time! Thank you, I'll let you all know Tuesday, I'm hoping since this one isn't a revue cerclage it won't be as painful (wishful thinking)
