Imaginary friends, does your child have one?

Neither of my kids had imaginary friends so it's not something I ever had to deal with. How do you handle that if your child has one? Play along? Tell them that you know their friend is imaginary to try to solidify that in their own mind?

No but he will just randomly eat imaginary food then go "mmmm" we just play along with it and will if he ever has an imaginary friend. I mean unless he's like 10 or something, then we may have to talk about it.

We have had a couple have an imaginary friend. We just act like it is a normal occurrence. I remember once I went to sit down at the dining room table and our daughter told me I couldn't sit there because "Fur Marie" was sitting there. :)

It was. It still makes us smile, but she'd be appalled that I even shared that!
