When you have a c-section, how long normally should or do you have to wait for another baby??

I had an emergency c-section with my daughter and she will be 1 next month so it has been almost a year. My hubby and I have decided to start trying for another baby so she can have a playmate and we can shut down the baby making business, lol. I'm just scared of the stitches bursting open and my new baby falling out. (sorry if tmi)

That's a great question, as I am sure many others have feared the same thing. I think the general rule is waiting a year for your body to return to its normal state. But I've never had a c-section so I'll let those who have weigh in.
yeah haha. and I meant to say 6 weeks. after your body's initially healed I think it's fine to go ahead and try again. but if you wanna wait till your body's 100% back to the way it should be, then it's 2 years. I've heard of plenty of people getting pregnant right after though. And if this is the last one, you shouldn't have anything to worry about. I think it gets bad if you continue to have one baby after another for like 4+ times in a row. Good luck!
