Ugh!

So I found out yesterday that I may have to be around a woman tomorrow that I seriously can't stand...and now I found out my older niece will be there. I love her to death but she insists on calling my son (despite me asking her to stop) a "Mocha Baby." Now I'm not normally overly sensitive but it makes me SO angry! And she won't stop. Her and several other family members find it funny. I know I'm being sensitive about it and I know I have to go tomorrow but the only way I know how to handle the situation is not nice! Any ideas?

If I can find the energy to not just slap her I might try that! Lol last time she did it I told her...I won't repeat what I said...so I'm hoping she behaves. Lol

I wish! She's the run and jump on you always in your face type.

Hopefully there will be enough people there that I can do that.

I warned my husband's SIL a few times... I told her if she popped my 'bubble' (personal space, saying stuff about my kids) one more time, I was going to pop hers... She took the warning for a few more months before she hugged me too much and said some things that just did not sit well with me... It wasn't pretty. But my life is drama free now :)

I've pretty much done the same thing. I normally only have to see them maybe once a year if that. Hopefully it will go well :-)

Hopefully. :) I agree with Melissa. Keep the coffee names coming back at her. :D It's not mean-just giving her a taste of her own medicine... :)

Well I kinda did that last time...at least it was a food reference. Lol you would have to understand my niece...love her to death but she's not always that bright. I HATE saying that but it is true. She doesn't really "get it" that much. The light is on but it's not very bright.

Stay at home wife and Mom. I have an older step son that is an amazing young man. My husband and myself have a little boy and newborn girl. Balancing life isn't always easy but it's always worth it :-)
