Article: Why Early Attachment Matters

I think most of us are at least aware that bonding with our baby is an important first step in our motherhood journey. Admittedly, I haven't had any issues with bonding and attachment with my babies. Though I will say we could have done a better job with our oldest and I wish we never, ever used the cry it out method with her.

What did you learn in this article about early attachment? Do you think you bonded well with your babies early on?…

I completely agree with this article. From our first child I have always practiced attached parenting. I still am very close to our children. Thirteen years ago, I didn't know it had a name. But, my MIL thought I was crazy not letting my baby cry, and the fact I would always hold and nurse my babies on demand, she thought I was going to raise depentant children. Now our two oldest children are 13 & 10, I'm glad I went with my mothers instinct.
