frustrated

we are trying to teach our 2 yr old to stay in her bed for bed time and get her off the cups when sleeping as well. And yes i figured we would have fits screaming and yelling with it. but its frustrating because my older kids want to coddle her and talk to her and sleep with her and everything else we only have a 3 bed room house so my girls are in one room and my boys are in another. any suggestions on how to make this easier on everybody???

It may take a few days to sort out a proper sleep pattern for your child, but in my experience I have learned that consistency, routine and patience is what kids crave.

You should have a sensible bedtime. 7-8pm.

Wind the night down, by reading to your child, calm and quiet environment can set the
      mood.

Let your child fall asleep on their own in their own bed, not on the sofa.

Routine, routine routine. You have to stick with what works. Always praise your child.
