Would you pay for library use?

I got an email today about Kindle Unlimited which sounds like a GREAT program. I am super psyched and will be signing up for sure. I read a ton and don't always have time to get to the library.

I started thinking about this though, would you pay to use the library? I probably would but I know plenty of people who would not. I don't really know many people at all who use the library regularly, to be honest.

We actually have to pay for our library since we are rural. If we did not pay the $30-$35 a year fee we could only get three items out at a time and there were other restrictions too. All because we do not live in town. We probably live the same distance from our library as we did when we lived in our townhouse in a different town and we did not have to pay there, but we were considered suburban still.

My mom paid a fee because we didn't live in town.. If I were to get a card I would have to, too because we don't have a local public library.
