how to keep hair clips on my daughter's hair

So to all the mothers out there that have had this dilemma I need your help because I am new to this...

I am having a very very hard time trying to keep a hair clip on my daughter's hair. They just slide right off.. I do not know what to do and I was wondering if someone can help me?

I can never get them to stay, either. If they aren't falling out, her brother is taking them out-she leaves them in. My oldest daughter I would buy the tiny rubber bands and just use those-just cut the band to get them out, they are cheap so it won't cost much.. And they are something you can at the dollar store. I wish you could still find those old-style hair clips.

Most of mine did not have much hair at nine months. I used barrettes I grew up wearing. I would put little pig tails and pony tails and as their hair got longer I would braid it in two regular braids or in French braids. It was fun doing their hair. Now 3 out of 4 of my daughters do their own hair. Only my 8 year old asks me to do her hair now.

I live for my children.. they are my world.. I love them.. I am currently a stay at home mom for the first time. I also have a playful doggy named Gizmo, I love him so much too. So I am always busy all day long.
