Is it too early to ask the doctor for a blood hcG?

I have an appointment to follow up with my doctor from being in the hospital on Wednesday, at which point I will be about 3 weeks from my last period, i think 8 days dpo.. Is that too early to ask her to do a blood test? its important that we know asap if I'm pregnant because of my other health issues that are going on right now...

Thats what I'm thinking. I mean, we were told not to try this month, but I wasn't watching my ovulation so this may be a happy accident (after trying for 10 months, lol) BUT it's important we know because of the medications I'm taking for my stomach condition, I still have a few days of antibiotics and depending on what happens with my blood work at my appointment I may have to have more...

This could be an amazing accident..

I would definitely tell them that you need to know. It may be too early, but it may not be too... So I would ask just in case, especially if other health issues are there. Fingers crossed that they work with you.

I mean, I know she'll run it if I ask but..oh man. lol. Maybe being told not to try was what I needed to be relaxed enough to actually get pregnant..

I say it doesn't hurt to ask and I'm sure your doctor will want to know as soon as possible too.
