    It can be an adjustment as you start putting on weight and start to show. Are you choosing veggies, fruit and nuts and seeds for snacks over junk food?

      As the other ladies have said, you will gain. It's part of being pregnant. Keep the junk food down to a minimum and eat fruit and veggies. If you are craving chocolate a lot get a magnesium supplement, chocolate craving is a sign of low magnesium levels. Some women gain a lot at first and not so much later, some barely gain at first then pack it on later, some are just steady. Your OB will keep track and let you know if there's a concern.
