Another strong line of storms:
This pic is the projected radar. It's looking ugly out there already, and this isn't even here yet...this is for about an hour from now.
We are in the middle of a small one right now. Be safe and stay inside.
I'm such a sissy when it comes to storms, I'm sitting here freaking out. lol
PLUS we live in an apartment now, so there's no where for me to really 'go' Back home I would be in the basement by now.
The apartment doesn't have a storm shelter? As I say that I realize it shouldn't surprise as FEMA guidelines are stupid.... You look like you'll be fine, just checked the radar on NOAA and most of the rest is just rain. I would freak out all the time even when I had a basement, I'm learning to control it because when I freak out, the kids freak out-and that's the last thing I need is more kids scared of storms.
Yeah, when I was a nanny I worked really hard to keep myself together around the kinds, but I'm just terrified of storms and home alone. lol. If there's a storm shelter I have no idea where it is, or how to access it. We've always just thought to go to the bathroom, it's the inner most part of our building.
You should ask the building manager abou it. I always keep a close eye on the radar close when storms get near, too.
