Big kids pushing boundaries
It's easy when your children are little and push boundaries. No meant no and even if they hated to hear that word they really didn't have a choice.
As kids get older though they get more freedom. Along with that freedom they also try to figure out where those boundaries are.
For instance, they may not be allowed to wear make up, but decide to keep it in their locker at school and put it on there.
Or they might not be allowed to walk more than a few blocks away to friends houses, but choose to literally push that boundary and go further than allowed.
How do you reinforce boundaries with your big kids?
