Did you know that drop side cribs were banned in 2011?
Over 150 babies died from 2007-2010 from drop side cribs. If you have one of these cribs you should stop using it immediately. There are some repair kits available but they are still recommending not to use these cribs at all.
That's scary, glad we don't have those!
We chose not to buy any drop down cribs because our children are almost con artists. They have managed to learn to open any childproof lock. We just have to say no (a lot) and bolt everything into the walls at this point.
When I was pregnant last year with my Son, they Did tell me. Our bed does not drop down.
We do have one. If we didn't, like the other ladies, I wouldn't be able to get Lucas in and out of the crib.
