18 year old dating 15 year old?

What are your thoughts on an 18 year old dating a 15 year old? Do you see it as no big deal? Is this an adult dating a child? Does it make a difference if the 18 year old is female?

What are your thoughts?

My grandparents were 14(Gma) and 20(Gpa) but that was like a 100 years ago! I think time has changed things and kids are not raised the same any more. I don't think I'd allow it with my boys or my daughter.

Depending on what they are going to do while dating. If you keep good track over what your kids do, why not allowing them to date each other? It never hurts to have friendship with a dating flare. When they grow up several years later, they may turn to more serious relations. But you need to make sure that they both understand it. If you cannot, then it's more likely to be a bad idea.

It all depends on the kids and their maturity levels.

I say no..Kids are already growing up to fast these days and not all bit MOST 18 year olds are already having sex and doing adult things and a 15 year old is not mature enough to be doing the same things a 18 year old does..I'm sure this does not apply to all but from what I've seen these days it's not a good idea..My daughters friend dated an 18 year old boy at 15 and I told her I thought he was to old for her, that he is probably already doing things she is not. And I was right. She lost her virginity with this boy and got super attatched why at the same time this boy was having a baby with another girl..My daughter just turned 16 and I told her she could date a 18 year old boy.Don't ask me why I think there is a difference in 15 dating 18 and 16 dating 18
