Evening Primrose oil

I was looking into this and wondering if it actually helps with labor starting sooner, was planning on starting the capsules at 34 weeks?

I heard it just helps your cervix ripen not actually start labor contractions, but no he needs to stay put until at least 37wks

I've heard it can actually cause contractions. I used it for cervical fluid and I read specifically not to take it after ovulation, thereby defeating my purposes in using it to help get pregnant. I have heard of women taking them around labor, like... very close to labor. And also I've heard of women inserting the capsules, if I remember correctly. I'd definitely do more research though, because it's been a while since I've read up on it.
