Your period... how bad is it?

How bad are your periods? Did you find they let up after you had your first baby or at a certain other point in your life?

I've always had long, heavy periods that used to make me pass out from pain (though I can handle piercings and tattoos, no sweat.) but they've let up a bit most cycles as I've gotten older. They've also gotten shorter. I'm in my twenties, so I expected they'd be worse for longer.

What about yours?

I'll let you know when I get it back again. :D My sister and I always had heavy, painful periods. She switched to a mooncup and cloth menstrual pads and they eased up a lot. So..that's my plan when it starts up again. i can handle washing that if it means i'm not doubled over in pain and completely useless for days.
